Hollowness

The installation presents an abstract yet still recognizable figure — the body of a mother octopus. Made from polyurethane foam, it unfolds into a soft, flowing form that appears both organic and otherworldly. Hollowness can be regarded as a “prequel” to Lost Memories: it is an exploration of an aquatic creature whose hollow body already hints at themes of transience and absence.
